Spent Saturday looking for Ipswich fried clams. Success at Sonny McCleans  a Boston bar in Santa Monica! Good Clam Chowder too! They have not gotten great reviews before but know they have a new chef and expanded space. I thought they were great!
Sunday I cleaned  hard! Ben was at a film shoot so my kitchen is back to normal.

I had a great Thanks giving with friends. Turkey and lots of veggies! I think my rutabaga and the roasted salted brussel sprouts were my favorite. Everyone went home with a snack. I have not cooked that much in along time and it was so satisfying to produce such abundance of food.

The Goose Is Getting Fat

It's rainy in LA and it reminds me the season has approached. I love this weather! I'm from New England and the smell of wood smoke and the crisp air makes me want to swaddle away.
I'm so happy to finally let you know about my life in LA with New England always in the blood.
